Performance for microfiber mops and pads
the excellent cleaning performance of speeds is the result of over 60 years of experience in the floorcare industry. Jones began in 1936 as a
yarn spinning manufacturer earning the reputation as one of the world's top suppliers to the mop industry. In 1981, Jones expanded into structured
nonwovens, operating as Jones Fiber Products. Today, JFP operates three production facilities in the southeast united states with a fourth production
unit in the wester U.S. Focusing on their two core competencies enabled Jones to engineer a microfiber cleaning pad specifically designed for the
floorcare industry with a fiber blend similar to that of a conventional string mop.
Jones product engineering was validated through months of end use testing at UC Davis Medical Center. During trials, speeds was used to dry sweep
and wet mop hallways and patient rooms, to clean the walls, and was laundered in house and then reused. The Environmental Services Staff
commented that compared to the traditional microfiber flat mops they are currently using, speeds glides more smothly across the floor, cleans
scuff marks more effectively, and cleans the baseboard build-up left behind from the other flat mops. One employee commented, "I didn't have to use
two mops to clean an entire patient room and speeds didn't dry out and I didn't have to add more solution to the floor." Another employee, who
works in the catheter lab, stated "it absorbed the water and blood better than the other flat mop, it left no sign of lint, and it cleaned the baseboards
beautifully." After 6 months of testing, speeds pads have been laundered over 200 times under standard water and drying temperatures without
special treatment. Speeds pads are bleach safe and there is no Velcro backing that will wear out during laundering.

Our end user research confirmed that Jones surpassed traditional flat mops in performance. Speeds met the challenges set by the healthcare
industry. Speeds cleans scuff marks. Speeds attaches to tools without Velcro backing. Speeds has greater absorption to ensure the use of a
single pad per 110 square foot patient room. Speeds proprietary fiber blend contains Triclosan antimicrobial fiber and can be laundered without special
handling and treatment. Speeds is patent pending and made in the U.S.A.
